Sir Igor Judge (ex Leader of this Circuit) has been appointed to the post of Lord Chief Justice.

His Honour Judge MacDuff QC, Senior Circuit Judge and Designated Civil Judge for Birmingham Civil Justice Centre, was appointed as a High Court Judge in the Queen's Bench Division in April 2008.
