In 2004 the Circuit was delighted to accept a proposal that we be 'twinned' with the Budapest Bar Association, which it was hoped would provide an excellent opportunity for lawyers from both Budapest and the Midlands to gain a greater understanding of one another's respective legal systems, whilst enhancing their knowledge of issues affecting cross border lititgation. Following the proposal, the first Circuit visit took place in October 2004, and was a great success, with a return visit by the Budapest Bar in April 2005.
