After making her mark as a particularly effective Junior and Assistant Junior, Jodie has put her enthusiasm and organisational skills into improving access to the bar and supporting the Women’s Forum. She has now taken on the role of Assistant Treasurer.

PROFILE

Now the circuit’s Assistant Treasurer, Jodie was invited to be the Assistant Circuit Junior during Richard Atkins QC’s final year as Leader before assisting Michael Duck QC as the Circuit Junior during his inaugural year. During this time Jodie assisted in organising circuit events and other administrative tasks. Jodie is committed to improving access to and diversity at the bar and, together with Michelle Heeley QC, launched the annual Midland Circuit Mini-Pupillage Scholarship Programme and is a member of the Midland Circuit Women’s Forum. She also assists with various education, training and diversity events organised by local schools, law departments, BPTC providers and other organisations.

In practice, Jodie undertook her pupillage at No5 Chambers in 2014, specialising in Clinical Negligence and Personal Injury, before taking tenancy the following year. She has a busy and diverse practice and appears in court on a range of matters, including trials, inquests and interlocutory hearings.
