The Head of Complex Casework Unit CPS West Midlands and CPS disclosure lead, Mark Paul, is delivering a short interactive presentation at 17:15- 18:00 on 13 December 2022 on making the DMD more effective as a case management tool. The training is based on similar input recently delivered to CPS prosecutors. The aim to ensure that DMDs are shorter and bespoke to the case and contain specific requests for the defence to engage with case management, requests that can then be reinforced with court directions as appropriate.
